The United States first Trench knife was made in 1917 during World War 1. It was designed and created for close-combat warfare style fighting. The knife featured a sharpened double edged triangular bayonet-style blade. These Trench knifes were also known as "knuckle-dusters" in 1918 after the US made a second attempt to perfect the Trench knife by keeping each individual knuckle surrounded like a type of brass guards. Many different style Knuck-dusters came after that. Like the Trench Keys (shown left)
Your Trench Key comes just as shown. Replica of the real thing with a twist, ready to do battle in the road wars. It's made from diecast metal (gold plated) with a faux wood handle. It weighs in at about an ounce an a half.
The Silver Trench Key is similar, but has a more modern stainless steel look.
